These terms govern use of raceRival, including account responsibilities, billing, and acceptable use.
You are responsible for account security and for all activity under your credentials.
raceRival provides two distinct types of competition and performance features:
Individual features use activity data synced from fitness platforms you connect (such as Strava). This data is used solely for your own personal dashboard, PR tracking, individual competitions, and your personal AI race plan. It is never shared with or displayed to other users.
Multi-athlete features (friends competitions, group competitions, shared leaderboards) use only GPS activity files (GPX format) that each participant manually uploads. By uploading a GPX file to a competition you consent to sharing the performance data in that file with other participants in that competition.
These two data flows are strictly separated. Fitness platform data (including Strava data) is never used in any multi-athlete feature.
When you connect a third-party fitness platform such as Strava, you authorise raceRival to access your own activities on your behalf. You must comply with that platform's terms of service. raceRival will only use data from connected platforms for your individual features as described above. We do not access or process any other user's data from third-party platforms.
By uploading a GPX file to a competition you confirm that:
Paid features are billed through our payment provider. Renewals, cancellations, and invoices are managed through the billing portal.
Personal data is processed according to our Data & Privacy Policy.
You may delete your account through Settings. We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
